Hi Craig,
Just ordered a Fanatic Freewave 75 TE, can't wait to see where it stands compared to my Classic FW86 (2017) and my Fanatic FW95 (2018)!
SInce I always have in mind the next board, I am thinking about a pure freeride for light to medium winds, that will be a pure freeride. My guess is that Fanatic will replace in 2021 the Blast and the Gecko by a single freeride line.
If I remember well, the switch from Powerbox to Tuttle was to give the Blast a boost towards a more freerace feel, but now there is the Jag that fits the program.
So, I hope the next Freeride line will stick to the Powerbox.
Why the Powerbox? For one thing, I have a garage full or Freeride weed fins, a necessity for where I do most of my light to medium winds (Cape Hatteras). Also, I like the one bold system that can be a board saver: I didn't happen often, but the few times I hit the bottom hard, the PB fin just broke with no further damage to the boad. Pretty sure the 2 bolts Tuttle system would have been a board breaker.
Thanks in advance,
Guy 😉 😉 😉
