Hi Cedric, ok, well if you did manage, then so long as you are not sailing in an area where losing height is dangerous, then try the 156 without daggerboard, if you feel you want to have a board without - it's not really a disadvantage to have one though, especially at the beginning and maybe you'll teach other family members or friends to windsurf on it - and buy yourself a second smaller board later? 156 is only available in HRS correct, LTD is from 146/148 downwards - the LTD is lighter of course, but at your sailing level, I would go for the more robust HRS for now. For your weight, 7.3 seems like a good all-round size, especially if you go up to 20knots. If the wind is regularly 10-15knots, then invest later in a 8.0 or bigger for planing/more speed in lighter winds. Kind regards, Craig
