@craig , you mentioned the need to possibly enlarge the holes on the Blast (and apparently some other boards) due to them not being quite drilled to the right diameter for the stock footstrap screws from the factory.
Well, I was lazy, and never drilled them out, BUT I did change something. Due to the difficulty of getting the screws in, I had stripped the phillips head screws quite a bit, and bought some replacement screws.
It turns out that these screws fit just about perfect. The OD of the threads are 6mm, as measured by my caliper, and right around 30mm threaded length, 34mm or so overall. I'm not sure about thread pitch measurement with just calipers, but it looks like the pitch is around 2mm or so.
Anyway, I replaced all of my footstrap screws with these and they fit perfectly. No problem getting them to tighten up without much effort with just a handheld screwdriver, and they feel solid without rotation, better than they ever were with the stock screws. So, if anyone else is dealing with this, it's worth looking into instead of enlarging the holes for the stock screws to fit better.
I'm also wondering if moving to a hex key would be better for this. Seems like they would strip less. But, with these screws I also managed to not strip anything.
