I posted on the forum last year asking advice on the wind range for the 2020 75L Freewave, i'm 130lbs and sail in the gorge. Intermediate sailor. Consensus was that the 75l 2020 would be ideal from 3.7-4.5. I would confirm that with a 3.7 and below that it's a handful in the gorge, likely because of my light weight and intermediate skills. Board is just planing incredibly fast, fully sheeted out and hard to keep it all in control through the swell/chop. Would a smaller center fin help get things under control when conditions dictate 3.7, 3.4, 3.0? Any other tuning elements on fin sizes or location that might assist? Windy summer in the gorge and definitely a challenge for a dude like me to get this high wind thing figured out at places like rowena, dougs and rufus. I realize the solution is probably a 68l grip...yet I'm not feeling like I can fully justify another new board at the moment...
