Hi there,
I'm current riding on Goya Custom 3 86 and Quatro Power 94, my weight is 85kg (without wetsuit and harness), and more oriented surf (good level), some jumps (moderate level), and when there's no wave just bump and jump. I sail in south France mostly where wind ranges from 20-40knots, and I use Banzai sails 3,7 / 4,2 / 4,7 / 5,3 / 6,0 (this one for blasting only); conditions are cross-on / onshore, waves generally a bit mushy, but can be good at times (Carro). I regularly travel with my gear (South Africa, Jericoacoara) and generally take one board with me and 3 sails.
Thinking for a change. What I'd change is probably add more "float" for the small board and the bigger board and increase slightly the gap between the small and the bigger board. Sails wise, I'll stick to 3,7/4,2/4,7/5,3 or 4,0/4,5/5,0/5,5 . I prefer by far a bit more volume to maximize the number of waves caught on the day than having less volume and a more radical board. What would you suggest?
Many thank!
Pepe
