Hey there,
I want to buy a new Surfboard. Most time I surf on lakes, Baltic Sea and North Sea. So the Water is choppy or small waves. Planing, footstraps, Harness for blasting around is no problem. I want to invest more time in learn Bumb & Jump, looping or other manouvers.
I’m looking for an all-round Board für easy planing, have fun and learning manoeuvre.
Currently I’m own an older JP x-cite ride 120L.
When there is more wind 120L can be a bit big but maybe the freewave triple fins makes this situation easier to handle. When the wind goes it’s small, but this are the limit with a one board solution. Maybe in future I buy a second board with 130 – 145L but this is not planned.
I think the freewave could be the right board. I’m not sure which I should order the 115L or the 125L version. Normally I drive to the Spot when the wind hits min 15 to 17knots or more. My Sails quiver has 6.6qm², 5.7qm² and 5.0qm². My weight is around 88Kg.
Maybe you can give me advise whether the freewave is the right type and which volume would be the right decision.
Is it right that the TE version is slightly more stable than the normal version and the weight is almost the same? In the 105l version are the freewave standard and TE just 150g difference. Or do I have other advantages to order the TE version?
Thanks Malte.
