I do, fairly similar to what we had until now in volumes, but otherwise totally new shapes, they feel really good but we are only going online with those in Feb/March...new fin coming from Finish fins, so expect a really good package!

bif111 hi there, actually with Bias Glass and PVC, the weight is very close to Falcons, and with the new fins, super competitive for sure.

I believe approx mid Feb is the release date, depending a bit on when the first boards arrive in Europe. Latest 1 March.

Hi Craig

What are the selling points of the 2023 Jag over the 2022?

Currently I'm using a Starboard Atom 114 with a 6.5 and 8.1. I consistly dry gybe and when I'm sailing regularly I plane out of most of them. The one thing I want to improve is speed - I'm being overtaken by people on futuras. Don't like being overtaken 🤣 So I was looking at the Jag 125, unless you'd recommend something else. Local shop is selling 2022 Jag 125 at a discount. Would there be much benefit holding out and getting the new 2023 Jag 128?

Thanks Craig. Currently, my light wind blasting board is a Starboard Atom 114, width 75.5cm. I use it with a Severne 6.5 NCX and 8.1 Turbo. I’m confident in bogging off the plane. Most my gybes are dry and starting to become more consistent in planing round. I am looking a faster board!

What would the benefit of the 23 Jag be over a 20% discounted 22 Jag?
I have heard from a few sources that the 22 Jag worked better with a different fin to the stock Choco fin. Does the Finish fin perform better?
Size. I was thinking a 125 / 128 for use with 6.5 and 8.1 sails. 110 possible but easier with the bigger board?
I presume UK dealers will get the board soon?

Hi Ash, ok:

Benefits, typically we change most of our shapes every 3-5yrs so we put in quite a bit of work on R&D to make sure the boards are always better than the previous model, which is always taken into the testing at every stage- otherwise there would be no point in bring new ones out. So the newer models have a touch more of the Falcon racing character, being a bit wider (not as wide as a pure slalom though) and therefore planing earlier, lifting onto the fin a bit more and definitely feel better allround in speed/control etc.
Indeed, yes the new fin boosts the 2023 Jags to a new level, these are high end race fins, costing a few hundred € normally, so it is a big investment from our side, makes a BIG difference to the performance.
Depends a bit on what your other boards look like in the range - 125 perfect for the 81, 6.5 will be good, but not much smaller. 110 great with 6.5/7.7....8,1 is getting too big for sure.
Correct yes, we had a small delay getting the fins, but these have arrived, now getting packed to the boards, so if you place an order should be available within a Cpl of weeks.

Regarding point 3) My next smallest board is a 105 Freestyle wave. 62cm wide. The 6.5 could be used on the FSW and I do so in choppy conditions.
128 may be best for me as it would work well with both 6.5 and 8.1

With a 6.5 and an 8.1 would you recommend getting a second fin or would the 41cm Finish fin do both sails?
